Jas Nasty loves dirty beats. Driven by heavy bass, you can expect to get down when she drops banging tracks that will bust through genre barriers of dancehall, UK garage, 2-step, dubstep, Baltimore club, electro, techno, house & retro 80′s- 90′s. Jas founded Women on Wax MTL in 2005, along with Cyan, and was involved in the early Montreal dubstep scene, opening for pioneers Skream and Kode 9 at Ghislain Poirier’s night Bounce Le Gros in 2006. Now in Ottawa, she continues to foster an appreciation for bass sounds via her involvement with DarkDisco, OPEN FORMAT and her love of collecting and sharing good music, old and new.
